A historical exploration tour organized by the Magome Writers' Village Guide Association where you can enjoy the flowers of Catalpa while following in the footsteps of Somine.
Sanno Sodo was the residence of modern Japanese journalist Soho Tokutomi. In the garden, catalpa flowers, which his lifelong mentor Jo Niijima brought back from America, bloom in May. Would you like to follow in the footsteps of Soho and take a stroll through the fragrant Magome Writers Village?

Meeting: JR Keihin Tohoku Line Omori North Exit Ticket Gate
Dissolution: Ota City Folk Museum (10 minutes walk from Nishi-Magome Station on the Toei Asakusa Line)

Omori Station - Omori Kaizuka Ruins Garden - Tetsuro Watsuji - Hiroshi Shimozawa - Shiro Ozaki Memorial Hall (visit) - Sanno Sodo Memorial Hall and Park (visit) - Shugoro Yamamoto - Manpukuji Temple - Muro Saisei - Kobayashi Kokei - Ota City Folk Museum (Disband on site, free tour of the museum)
