You can enjoy the cherry blossoms (approximately 250 trees) in the spring, and the autumn leaves on a boat ride (for a fee) in the fall. There is also the Ikegetsu Bridge, the aquatic botanical garden, the graves of Kaishu and his wife Katsu, and the memorial poem of Takamori Saigo.
